At any given moment, someone is doing their best, and this varies from day-to-day. It is also my belief that people are always striving to better themselves and understand themselves better. Therapy is a place where people can begin to put into words their successes, their pain, and all of their goals as they pursue their life worth living.

I focused much of my training on learning and teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and have come to appreciate how this therapeutic approach can be beneficial to most people. I also paid particular focus to therapy with people who identified having substance use disorders.
